Learned Curriculum
Using Topic Front Covers identified as part of the ‘Assessed Curriculum’ and Short Term Goals linked to the EHCP, Teachers and Therapists track what pupils have learnt using a Progress Continuum that has been adapted from the Dales School Continuum and CHECS. This enables us as a school to map what each individual pupil has learnt in relation to our ‘Intended Curriculum’. Individual pupil assessment records outlining what a pupil has learnt are accessed via the Staff App.
Evidence required for this assessment process is a selection of the following: Work in pupils’ books, Activities on SeeSaw, Samples of work produced specifically for an assessment and Records of observations and discussions
